You are cordially invited to an "Art Afternoon" on 3 June 2025 from 12:00 to 15:00. The Art of Art will take place in the courtyard of Kaunas School of Applied Arts, 112 V.Krėvės Ave.

During the event, all art lovers and creative visitors will have the opportunity to take part in various demonstrations and educational activities:

• Throughout the event you will have the opportunity to renew your jewellery, so don't forget to bring it with you!
• In the baking workshop, you will create products from different clay masses and try out some of your creations in a special swimming pool.
• Learn the basics of weaving a birch tape.
• You will create original bookmarks, using metal production scraps in a sustainable way.
• Take part in a ball-weaving workshop using unbarked twine.
• You will learn about the technology of casting brass in delft clay and make your own unique brass ring.
• In the creative process, you will be able to make an enamelled pendant as a unique memento of the event.
• Working together, you will tie a shirma using the macramé technique, using flat knots.
• You will experiment with shapes, colours and materials to create keyrings - each participant will create their own unique accessory.
• You will try schibori dyeing techniques and paint fabrics with your own creative patterns.
